The 30-day Richard Osborn Challenge

This has become an annual tradition for Adventist Vegetarian Diabetics! Richard is our “poster child” for walking 10,000+ steps a day.

The 30-day Richard Osborn Challenge

Please consider joining this Challenge, even if all you can do is walk out to the mailbox and back every day! You do not have to walk 10,000 steps/day as Richard does, but you do have to walk some every day. Or every week. Whatever is an improvement over what you’re doing now. This is not a contest or competition with anyone other than yourself. It’s an open Challenge: you can join at any time during May; but, of course, the more days you do it the better you will feel.

Note to members in wheelchairs or otherwise mobility-impaired: If you cannot walk, please go outdoors every day and move around in the sunshine and fresh air. Now that the weather is getting warmer and the rainy season is pretty much over (in California) and the days are longer, there’s no excuse for sitting inside all day!
