Goal: To maintain (or renew) your personal exercise practices that will be beneficial to your diabetic health.

By November (in the Northern Hemisphere), weather is generally cooler, with rain and/or snow in many places, and very discouraging for walking/exercising outdoors. This does not mean you have to stop exercising! And, caught in the throes of winter holidays (from Halloween through New Year’s), it’s more important than ever to keep up with a consistent exercise program. Options include:

  • Mall walking
  • Gym
  • Dance classes
  • In-home exercise
    • With equipment
    • Without equipment

If you are mobility-challenged, this is a good time to re-evaluate ways that you can get the benefits of exercise in whatever ways you are able. Please feel free to visit my playlist on YouTube at (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDsa34fnyMoRanPv7lkNCw2OR4vgfqfsE).
