Foot Health Awareness Month

Since it is so very important for people with diabetes to exercise by walking (as much as possible), it is also extremely important to take special care of your feet.

As we anticipate our annual The 30-day Richard Osborn Challenge (May 1-31), it’s vital to focus on our foot health!

Practice daily care of your feet, including:
• Blood glucose control (under a maximum of 140 mg/dL or 7.8 mmol/l), < 6.5% A1C.
• Daily inspection for abnormalities.
• Daily washing and moisturizing.
