High blood pressure and diabetes generally go hand in hand. And if one is diagnosed with both then you are instructed to immediately watch salt intake. But for diabetics in particular there are some unintended consequences to lowering salt intake especially when it comes to keeping blood sugars in those non-diabetic ranges.
